It’s quite an accomplishment when any company reaches its 150th anniversary. When a storied gun company does so, it’s something we should all celebrate, even during a worldwide pandemic.
Enter Marlin Firearms, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year with a commemorative Model 60. For those few who aren’t familiar with the Model 60, the design has been around for 60 years, and 10 million of the guns have been sold. In fact, the little rimfire autoloader is one of the most popular .22 LRs in the country.
The commemorative Model 60 keeps the same 14-shot tubular magazine and side-ejection action, but features several add-ons to make it special. Those include an American black walnut stock, a special serial number and a 19-inch stainless steel barrel. Additionally, the stock has a commemorative 150th Anniversary medallion inset into it.
If you’re one of the thousands of Americans who have always thought the Model 60 was special, note that you won’t find one more special than this one. For more information, visit marlinfirearms.com .
