On The Firing Line With The M134 Minigun

While filming the 2018 season of Guns&AmmoTV we had the unique opportunity to fire a very interesting machine gun, the M134 Minigun. We were filming on location in Uvalde, Texas at DriveTanks.com which is an exceptional living history museum. What makes it unique? Not only can you see and touch historical small arms, armored vehicles and anti-tank guns, but you can actually shoot many of them, like the M134 seen here. Yes, even some of the tanks have live main guns you can fire too! Tom Beckstrand, a West Point graduate and former Special Forces officer was on camera for this segment. He looked right at home behind the gun and made short work of a car some 200 meters distant which was unfortunate enough to be acting as his target. An important piece of American firearms history, the M134 is a true classic. I wanted to share this with FirearmsNews.com’ fans, so I shot this short video during a break in filming.
