The new Throttle air rifle from Umarex features the company's innovative Stopshox anti-recoil system. The rifle also features a SilencAir 5 chamber noise dampener to suppress noise.
The rifle is powered by the ReAxis gas-powered piston system that works off a 35-pound single-shot break-barrel cocking system. The Throttle comes in both .177 caliber and .22 caliber. Muzzle velocity with the .177 caliber pellet is measured at 1,200 fps with an alloy pellet, while a .22-caliber alloy pellet measured a muzzle velocity of 1,000 fps.
Both models weigh 8.3 pounds and come with five-pound trigger pulls. Overall length is 45.3 inches and barrels measure 15.9 inches long. Length of pull on both models was measured at 14.8 inches.
