Vision and perspective are key in tactical situations, but typically in order to obtain a clear line of sight, one must expose his or herself to unnecessary risk. The Corner Shot CSM allows users to engage targets from around corners, beneath raised objects and over walls while remaining behind cover.
Developed by a senior officer of the Israel Defense Forces , the Corner Shot is a polymer-framed swiveling pistol mount with a camera attached on the front and a flip-out, camcorder-style monitor attached on the left side of the device where it is visible to the user.
The corner shot has been only available to military and law enforcement, but is entering the U.S. consumer market due to high demand. The chassis is designed to accept full-sized service weapons , including Glock , SIG Sauer , Browning , HK and Beretta pistols. For civilian use, the pistol being inserted into the Corner Shot chassis must be registered through the ATF as a short barreled rifle (SBR).

Glock 17 was used.

The Corner Shot is essentially a polymer-framed swiveling pistol mount with a camera attached on the front and a flip-out, camcorder-style monitor on the left side of the device. A cable runs from the pistol to the Corner Shot's trigger, which allows the user to fire the pistol from the safety of concealment.
After a situation has been assessed, the pistol can be quickly rotated back to the forward-firing position for more traditional shooting.
