Do you really live in a free country if you can be murdered for stating an opinion that is different from what some others believe? That’s the question many are asking after an Indianapolis woman was recently killed by a Black Lives Matter (BLM) supporter for making the statement, “All lives matter.”
According to multiple reports, 24-year-old Jessica Doty Whitaker, her fiancé, and two friends were walking along a Minneapolis canal following an Independence Day fireworks celebration when they got into a confrontation with a group of BLM supporters. The group began shouting, “Black lives matter ,” prompting Whitaker to respond, “All lives matter .”
Both groups reportedly brandished guns at one another, but eventually talked through the issue, fist-bumped, and walked away. However, a short time later, one of the BLM protesters ambushed the group under a bridge, firing multiple shots hitting the young mother several times, killing her.
“They were sitting on St. Clair waiting for us to come under the bridge and that’s when she got shot ,” Jose Ramirez, Whitakers fiancé, told a local news station. Whitaker leaves behind a three-year-old son.

Unbelievably, BLM supporters have flooded a Facebook page belonging to Whitaker to celebrate her death. Horrible comments made there include, “Racist Rachel is pushing up daisies and the streets are a little safer,” “Maybe she should have thought about her son before she opened her racist (expletive) mouth,” “Good riddance to another racist,” and, “Black lives matter – the rest of you are next.”
One of the commenters even verbally attacked Arlene Doty, Whitaker’s mother, for telling a local news station, “I just want the people who are responsible to be held accountable.” The person responded on Facebook: “'I got some bad news for you Arlene. You are the one responsible for raising your daughter to hang out with racists.”
Not so unbelievably, the so-called “mainstream” media has been curiously quiet about the entire affair, with only a few reporting on the murder, and those that did concentrating on reports that one of Whitaker’s friends might have used the “n-word.” It seems that most in the media are not willing to report the truth—and are even willing to put up with an occasional murder—if the story happens to run counter to the divisive narrative they are pushing on the air, day in and day out.
